Hanalei, March 25 - March 30, 2013

The camp left something to be desired for sleeping. Luckily, really luckly, Richard's neighbors showed up for the event (and some surfing) and had rented a surf shack in Hanalei. In fact, they spent a year or so right in this area when they were younger. Geroge is an avid surfer and this is surfers paradise. He went everyday and reconnected with several of the more colorful characters in the area. If you every wondered where all the hippies from the 60's and 70's went, they came here. It rained everyday, and it really felt like Jurassic Park. We made the most of it. Btw, a little but from here is the rainest spot on the planet earth, 550+ inches per year. I understand why.
