This is the big one. If we are lucky it comes to us all. What to do? She always wated to go here so lets do it. We took 3 flights to get here (and 3 fights to get back). We had a bit of drama in the house rental, but it eventually worked out. And we learned something. The weather was great, the island is really beautiful. The beauty of Maine, but tamed. Nothing broken or abandoned. Want to go back. Guess who joined the celebration. The great suprise was that the food was just spectacular. The freshness was amazing. Now I know what it means to have fresh food. And everyone there was a real foodie. And we did have the best clam chowder of our lives... what is that recipe?
