So I wake up around 7am to start the day. I left my coffee in the car so I go outside to get it. Open the door to find this guy right at the bird feeder tree poking around for seeds, not 15 feet away from me. We both are surprised and retreat to our respective safe places. He (or she) is munching on every plant as they walk along. He went to the far corner of the property, toward Hunter at the road side, but could really not go out. There is that chicken fence there separating the properties. I saw the saplings swinging back and forth as he no doubt was trying to get across. Eventually he emerged and went toward the creek. That is when I got these.
