Visiting Eva (Finally), April 28 - May 2, 2022

We were all going to visit Eva in March 2020, plane tickets and all. Leaving on Friday the 13 (not kidding). But Covid was ramping up and the idea of a N-hour flight getting exposed, and maybe being stranded was not pleasent so we cancelled the night before. And low and behlod, over the weekend, the airpline said they cancelled out return trip because of covid... if we had taken it. This time, it was the first weekend where you don'thave to wear a mask on a place. 2+ years later. It was so nice to see Eva (and Alister). We had a great time mostly hiking and doing nature stuff. And there was an exceptional dinner thrown in there (and exceptional in price to). I brought some asronomy equipement, and the skies were spectacular. But there is only so much you can take in an overhead. The visit to Lowel was something great for me. During the day I saw the birth and maturation of a solar falre. I cold not believe it was happening in real time. And at night, using those telescopes was amazing. Till next time...
