Hard to believe but our trip is almost over. It is a several hour drive from Bryce, so we decided break it up and stay overnight at some town about 3/4 to Las Vegas. Avoiding the crowds, but close enough to have plenty of time to make it to the airport in the am. Turns out that someone (I won't say who but it was not me) made the reservations for the wrong date, like Novenmber 18. Ooops. Of course every hotel room was full (some local football game filled up every room). So on to Sin City. A huge discussion ensued on where we would stay and what we would do. Alex and I wanted to stay at one of the big hotels as long as it was not outrageously exppensive (and it was not), and then enjoy the night life for a few hours. You can imagine the horror. So we stayed at some Holday Express Motel. Free breakfast though. But we had to get to the Bellagio by midnight to see the water show. Some good movie footage here. At least someone got to do what they wanted.
